Effective January 1, 2018 all civil related cases are mandated by the Illinois Supreme Court to be filed electronically.
Logan County is now accepting civil e-filings. Please access the website OdysseyeFileIL.com to learn more to begin submitting electronic documents.

A: The Circuit Court Clerk has a searchable database of Logan County Cases. To search go to search court cases. In addition, Public Access Terminals are available in the Circuit Court Clerk's Office in each division to look up information about court cases at no charge. Copies of all current, non-impounded Court records may be obtained at any Clerk's office location, for the statutory fee.
Q: Can I pay my traffic tickets online?
A: You can plead guilty and pay your traffic ticket online on Judici with a credit card. Search for your case by entering your name (Last Name, First Name; i.e. Doe, John) or case number. Click on the "Plea/Pay" button to plead guilty and pay your traffic ticket.
Q: How do I request access to adoption records?
A: Adoption records are impounded by law and are not available for public inspection without a court order.
Q: Where do I get a birth/death/marriage certificate?
A: Birth, death and marriage certificates are maintained by the County Clerk.
Q: What is the status of my Child Support payment?
A: You can find out the status of your Child Support payment by accessing the Illinois State Disbursement Unit's website at www.ilchildsupport.com.
Q: How can I find out if a case was filed?
A: You can contact the division that would have jurisdiction over the case and request a check of the electronic docket or you can visit any one of our locations to search our electronic docket on your own. Contact information for each division is located here.
Q: How far back do your records go?
A: That depends on what type of case you are looking for. Our oldest records date back to the 1800's, but some types of records are only held for a certain number of years. Contact our office for specific questions here.
Q: Where can I get records regarding real property in Logan County?
A: You should direct your inquiry to the Logan County Clerk and Recorder's office. The telephone number is (217) 732-4148. The Clerk and Recorder's Office maintains all records regarding real property transfers and liens, etc. Further information on this office may be found online at the County Clerk Website.
Q: Who can I contact for juror information?
A: The Circuit Court Clerk's office does not directly handle jurors or juror assignment. Please contact the Office of Jury Commissioner which is located in Room 37 of the Logan County Courthouse. The Office can be contacted at (217) 732-4414.
Q: How can I get Court Supervision?
A: See information explaining the process for asking the Court for Court Supervision in the Traffic Violations Section of this website. In order to ask the Court for Court Supervision you must appear in court on the date on your ticket. No exceptions will be made to this policy.
